Take The Weight Off Your Mind Part 1

How many times have you heard people say that they want to lose weight?

How many times have you or someone you know tried the latest "diet"?

How many times have you or someone you know lost weight only to put all the weight back on after a short period of time?

Maybe it is time to change the thinking?

Maybe it is time TO TAKE THE WEIGHT OFF YOUR MIND?

When the focus is all about going on a diet to lose weight, the brain sees this as a negative, associating weight loss with counting calories, denying the body food and all the tasks and challenges this brings.

Focusing on losing weight and 'doing the next diet'  sends the message to the brain that weight is the issue, this can lead to jumping on the scales every week or even daily, then thinking about what to cut out if the weight has increased.

What about if we change the thinking?

What about focusing on being a healthier you, rather than focusing on weight?

What about recognising how you are feeling instead of counting calories?

What about listening to what your body is telling you?

Would you like to make a number of small changes that when done consistently over time will help you become a healthier YOU?

How would you feel if you were asked not to skip meals and eat 5 times a day?

What would say and how would you feel if you were shown how to make significant changes over the next 21 days forming 'new habits' that will become part of the new you?
What action would you take if you knew that someone was supporting you to make the changes you truly desire to make?

What commitment are you prepared to make to achieve the result you want.

Let me explain why I pose these questions.

Information and knowledge is not enough.

The world is awash with information on nutrition.

Programmes about obesity seem to be shown weekly and the latest healthy cook book always becomes a best seller.

With all of this information, why does the world have such an obesity epidemic?

Information and knowledge is worthless without making a decision to change, then taking small actions consistently over time to be break old habits and introduce new ones that support you in becoming a 'healthier you'

I look forward to sharing with you 'The power of small actions taken over time'.

How do you feel about taking one small action right now?

The action is to download the Wellness Questionnaire.

The questionnaire will help you know where you are right now.

At this stage I am not asking that you complete it.

All I am asking is that you take one simple action step and download the questionnaire absolutely free.

See you soon.
